Barrier with two-sided boom attachment
The heavy gate barrier TSDH 90/70 robust barrier for boom lengths of up to 9 m. It is double sided attached in ball bearings and is particularly suitable for use in factory protection and for driveways with truck and freight transport. The TSDH 90/70 model has been on the market for more than 40 years under sometimes extreme conditions and has been developed and improved several times during this time. The barrier TSDH 90/70 is also available with a shortened boom specifically designed for areas at high risk of vandalism.
The housing of the heavy gate barrier TSDH 90/70
The housing of the heavy gate barrier TSDH 90/70 has a modular Design. A stable, fire-galvanized steel chassis forms the basis for the sturdy housing. The chassis contains an easily changeable cladding made of fibreglass reinforced plastic (GFK). The side parts of the housing are painted in signal white (RAL 9003) by default and the hood is painted in in traffic grey A (RAL 7042). Other RAL colours or DB shades can be delivered on request. Despite the robust design, the barrier, including the booms, weighs only 200 kg and is therefore good to transport and install.
Barrier boom and movement
The boom of the heavy gate barrier is made of aluminum and has three conical sides. It is painted in traffic white (RAL 9016) and red-reflective 3M special strips are attached on both sides. The driveunit is electromechanical and allows for a jerk-free movement. Furthermore, the drive is controlled sinus-shaped, resulting in a slow start, rapid acceleration and a soft stopping of movement. The barrier has internal, mechanical latches in both end positions. Despite the robust design, it does not require counterweights, an impact Fork or a pendulum support. This innovative technique can be found in this combination by almost no other supplier. Even in the event of a loss of voltage, the tree remains operable, as it can be easily moved upwards with a hand crank and thus ensures safe leaving of the parking surfaces. Despite the heavy design, the barrier impresses with an opening speed of 7 seconds.
Control concept of the barrier system
The control concept for the heavy gate barrier TSDH 90/70 is available in two variants. In the LB variant, the barrier is operated via an engine reversing contactor, which ensures a classic gatekeeper operation. In the LCF concept, the barrier is controlled by a microprocessor control system with a frequency converter. This allows both the gentle start-up and the soft-stop to be driven at adjustable speeds. In addition, the control can be equipped with a 2-channel loop detector. In this version, the system is suitable for connecting to 230 V single-phase powersupplies as well as for operating at 400 V triphase powersupplies.
